To ensure we can smoothly proceed with the project without unnecessary logistical complications, the workflow is based on a strict digital-only model. I do not accept physical parts or bulky items into my workspace.
1. What do I need from you?
To prepare a proper CAD model, I need reliable input data. Depending on what you have available, please provide:
Precise baseline dimensions (e.g., a sketch with measurements taken using calipers, photos with marked key dimensions).
3D Scan (if the part has a complex, irregular shape) – you can create this yourself using dedicated smartphone applications (e.g., Kiri Engine) or an external scanner, and send me the resulting mesh file (e.g., STL/OBJ).
Damaged part or sample (optionally in the form of a reference photo with a description of the problem).
2. Terms of Cooperation and Liability (Disclaimer)
Liability for Input Data: The CAD model is designed strictly based on the data, drawings, or scans provided by the client. The responsibility for the accuracy of input dimensions and the precision of any self-made scan rests entirely with the client.
Production Process and Tolerances: The subject of the service is the delivery of a digital production file (e.g., STEP, STL). I am not responsible for the physical manufacturing process of the component (3D printing, CNC machining) carried out by third parties or the client themselves, including material shrinkage, machine parameters, or fit tolerances at the final manufacturer.
Prototyping: For components requiring a tight fit, I always recommend verifying the geometry by creating an initial, low-cost test print prior to final production.
